Bruce’s love of cars began early and hasn’t ebbed yet. After attending Saint Mary's College of California, he began his professional life as a factory trained master mechanic at Griswold Company a Ferrari / Alfa Romeo dealership located in Berkeley, CA.

After several years, with all the exuberance of youth, Bruce Metras left Griswold’s to establish his own company, working exclusively on Alfa Romeos. Bruce looked so young at the time, he grew a beard to appear a bit older but the kid inside has never slowed down. He loves his work, and his skills have only grown over the years. When he isn’t turning wrenches, you’ll find him either on the racquetball courts; riding one of his many Moulton bicycles; tinkering with an old accordion; stringing a racquet or heading out to West Marin on one of his motorcycles. Some guys just know how to live!
